I’ve worked on Michfb.com for four years, starting by building the theme using Storybook and FourKitchens’ Emulsify theme. Michfb’s process uses Ddev for local development, Circle CI for code and unit testing, and is hosted on Pantheon. The site was originally built on Drupal 9 and I upgraded it to Drupal 10.

In addition to the theme, I created custom modules for Webform composite fields, used Geolocation Field and Geocoder to create interactive maps, and built custom Groups for MFB’s County Farm Bureaus.

I paid close attention to accessibility, especially with site navigation, tested thoroughly using Apple Voiceover and NVDA, and built a Windows 10 virtual machine to test the site using the publicly available version of JAWS, since I only had a Mac laptop available.
